G7 DRIVES

The Varispeed G7 is designed for very high performance applications. It is worldwide the one and only inverter with 3-level-technology for 400 V power supply and IGBTs. This technology reduces the stress for the motor winding insulations and the bearing current which helps in applications with long motorcables and increase the motor lifetime extremely.

The G7 supports V/f control with and without PG, Open Loop Vector control and Closed Loop Vector control.

The P7 drive is the Industrial Fan/Pump drive. It is the companion to the F7 drive in fit and form. Its functionality is designed for variable torque fans and pumps. It is offered with Volts/frequency control and Normal Duty overload of 110% for one minute. Bypass is available.

V74X NEMA Type 4X/12 Vector Drive

V74X - This drive is a version of the standard V7, in an integral enclosure that meets NEMA type 4X/12 indoor use requirements, UL type 4X/12 standards, and the IP66 rating of IEC 529. This enclosure provides the protection required in tough washdown or dust-tight environments, common in Food and Beverage Processing, Packaging, Metal Machining, Woodworking, Pumping, Refrigeration, and Printing. The cast enclosure is powder-coated to protect against the harmful effects of sanitizing chemicals commonly used in food industries.

V7N Drive with Embedded DeviceNet

The V7N is a general purpose, AC motor drive for facilities using DeviceNet communications. The V7N was created by embedding DeviceNet into the control card of the highly successful V7 drive. The V7N provides low motor noise and high starting torque. Two control methods are provided – V/Hz and Open Loop Vector control for precise speed regulation. Open Loop Vector control also provides higher torque at low speed. The V7N is designed for constant torque applications, with current overload rating of 150% for 60 seconds.

J7 (GPD 305) General Purpose AC Drive

The J7 is a full-featured, low cost, compact, V/Hz drive. The four standard multifunction inputs can be programmed to allow for 9 preset speeds. The J7 also has an analog input, a multifunction output, and an analog output as standard.

VS_Mini (1/8 - 1 Horsepower Single-phase 115 VAC AC Drive)

The VS mini Drive is available in 1/8 through 1 HP models, for 115 VAC single-phase input, with a 230 VAC, 3-phase output for conventional induction motors. G5 HHP Vector Drive, 350 to 1800hp

460V/600V up to 1800HP

The G5 HHP is a modular AC drive which provides low motor noise and high starting torque. Available with a full array of network communication options, V/Hz, and open loop and closed loop flux vector performance.

A flexible modular design allows Vector Drive Systems to use common components to manufacture its full featured G5 adjustable speed drives from 400 to 1,600 amps, 460/600Vac, and up to 1,500hp.The drives can easily support a 12-pulse configuration for reduced harmonics.

When properly applied these Yaskawa inverters deliver the highest MTBF or Mean Time Between Failure in the industry; exceeds 28 years. Motor loads of 1/8th HP to 1800HP are designed into integrated drive systems at Vector Drive Systems' Canadian plant operations in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.

GPD 506/P5 Drive

600V, 2 to 200HP

The GPD 506/P5 is available in variable torque and constant torque ratings intended for industrial fans, centrifugal pumps, commercial laundry machines, grinders, buffers, low-viscosity mixers, centrifuges and saws and other applications with defined overload and starting torque requirements. The 600vac rating is variable torque only.The design specifications for the GPD 506/P5 were selected to provide additional benefits such as NEMA type 1/12/3R enclosure choices, current harmonic reduction choices, and the right collection of I/O signals and interface controls.
